\"\"The exhibition \u201cI, Andy Warhol\u201d <\/strong>is curated by Gianni Mercurio and displayed nearly 150 works of the American artist (paintings, drawings and editions), photos by renowned photographers Fred W. McDarrah, Gerard Malanga, Christopher Makos among others, who were close to Warhol in different decades of his life and career and hundreds of items; among them original New York fashion magazines for which Warhol worked as an illustrator in the 1950s, a consistent number of original Interview magazines, original long playing covers designed by Warhol from the \u201950 and videos.<\/p>\n

All works and materials are arranged within a large philological apparatus that allows to approach the complex personality of Andy Warhol and the historical context of his artistic career. In fact, the aim of \u201cI, Andy Warhol\u201d<\/strong> is to reveal to a large audience both the man and the great communicative person whose voice can still be heard, even twenty-seven years after his death.<\/p>\n
